CSR in collaboration with District Administration and Department of Labour organized an awareness rally to campaign against recruiting children in domestic and service industries. The rally took places in vicinity of Nagercoil town on 12th May 2007. The rally passed through all important places in the town and more than 2000 volunteers participated. An Awareness Exhibition on HIV/AIDS was organized during the Religious Festival at Mandaikadu in collaboration with Positive People Welfare Society in Kanyakumari District. Exhibitions play an important role in giving awareness to the public. During the current year, The exhibition was inaugurated by DD Public Health Dr. Mathusoothanan and staged for 10 days. The exhibition provided an opportunity to spread messages on HIV epidemic through IEC Materials, Plays and Puppetry to the devotees. |
