  'Publish or perish' is a new dictum. CSR recognizes that publication is an effective medium of awareness creation and sharing of experience and expertise. It is a medium for consolidated documentation of all the activities and to transfer the techniques to other NGOs and the public. The following are some of the important publications.
   
 
   
  Experience in School Enrolment:
       
  The Project, 'Campaign for Enrollment and Elimination of School Dropouts in Tuticorin District' was implemented during the year 2001-2003. The various activities carried out, the different strategies adopted, the useful impacts created, and the hard experiences gained are well documented in this publication.
   
 
   
  Child Labour System:
       
  The Child Labour Eradication Awareness programme was implemented by CSR from 1996 in 12 villages of Thovalai Taluk of Kanyakumari District with the active participation of CBOs. The book described the experiences of CSR in eradicating Child Labour in the villages. The objectives of the programme, problems and issues, the strategies adopted, the impacts of interaction and the lessons learnt were vividly documented. The implementation of the project had led to evolve a model of intervention with maximum participation of the people. The model is sustainable, cost effective and replicable. A report of the assessment study of this model in three districts of south Tamil Nadu with the technical support of 'Pro-Vision' is given in the publication.

  Spare a Word, Show you care:
       
  CSR, through its various programmes, participates in the fight against the spread of HIV/AIDS and provides community based care and support for the affected. This publication portrays the efforts of CSR to document its experiences in this field for wider sharing. This will serve as a resource book for the NGOs and CBOs interested to implement community based Care and Support programme.
   
 
   
  Manual for Volunteers Working in HIV/AIDS Care & Support:
 
 

Amanual entitled HIV/AIDS Paniyil Nalvazhvuthondarkalukkana Kaiyedu is published by CSR to assist the staff/volunteers involved in Care and Support services to the PLHA and their family members. Compiled by Suresh & Mr.Pazaniyapillai Coordinator CSR, the manualcontains chapters covering wide range of topics on importanceof care and support and its components in order tofacilitate easy reading Primarily printed .

Primarily printed for the community leaders/volunteers and youth fromthe coastal areas of Kanyakumari district, the 54 page Tamil document released by Mr.Michael Hinsch, Programme advisor; Malteser international is already in circulation among the key NGOs working in Care and Support. The manual was printed with the financial assistance from Malteser International – ADH Germany. It documents the common practices that every field level staff and volunteer can adopt in working with people living with HIV/AIDS.

   Nesikkiraen:A Collection of Awareness Songs:
       
 
A Compact Disc containing 6 songs reciting the themes about care and support was composed by Mr.A.Pazhaniyapillai Co-ordinator, CSR to support the activities of the project. Malteser International provided the financial assistance and the CD is released by Ms.Maren Pasche of Malteser International on 12th April 2008.
   
 
   
  Disaster Awareness songs:
       
 

CSR along with VICTOPHA, an NGO working in Kanyakumari District released a CD on Disaster Awareness. The CD was released by UNDP communication officer, Mrs.EvaVan Beekinthe presence of P.A.P.D.Mr.A.Vijayakumar.

   
 
   
   HIV and De-addiction awareness songs:
       
  A Compact Disc containing 6 songs reciting the themes about care and support and de-addictionwas composed by Mr.A.Pazhaniyapillai Co-ordinator, CSR. Discipleship centre provided the financial assistance and the CD is released on 1 December 2007.
