CSR's long cherished dream was fulfilled by "The People and Government of Japan" by providing financial support to build a training center at Kanyakumari. It was named as CSR TRAINING CENTRE and started functioning from 2002.

The training center was built with the aim of providing training to enhance the capacity of staff of NGOs and grass root level people. The training centre and could accommodate about 40 participants. Together with the basic infrastructure, the lecture hall in the Training Centre has been equipped with the essential training equipments like LCD, OHP, White Board, and a wide variety of audio visual aids.

The library in the training center has numerous books on HIV/AIDS prevention, Child rights, Social issues, Women rights, Training modules, etc. Also a collection of international journals and periodicals are available in the library. CSR's publications and News letters also find a place in the library.

Thus the Training Centre provided better services to the beneficiaries in an economic way with basic recreational facilities and delicious food. Hence the training center with its imposing structure stands as a land mark in the history of achievements of CSR.
